Emmy-nominated artist, author, activist and musician Laura Jane Grace from Against Me! , an American band formed in 1997. She had released yesterday the brand new music video for ”SuperNatural Possession,” a track lifted from Grace’s solo album, "Stay Alive". A colourful and kaleidoscopic visual of pop rock.

Laura Jance Grace was firstly planning on making a new record with Against Me! But finally, she released a solo record "Stay Alive". Because clearly, nothing has gone according to her plans this year, every project didn't go as planned because of the chaotic world's situation. Grace saw all of her tours being cancelled and both of her band members were spread across the country, she had no choice to be alone. Alone with all these ideas and songs, but without any band to record them with. "Stay Alive" released in 2020 with an album name which takes perfect sense now. A name which evokes these hard times working alone at her home and the industry that’s been ravaged by venue closures, cancelled tours, and delayed records.

“I sat around for a month-and-a-half at a home just being shell-shocked being like, ‘What the fuck happened and what the fuck is happening with the world?’ As I started to get my bearings, I just came to the realization that waiting was going to kill the record and kill the songs. I spent two years working on all these songs, and the idea of throwing them away didn’t sit well with me. But then I was like, ‘What am I waiting for?’ All I have to do is adjust my scope. I can sit here on my fucking ass and do nothing, or I can work.” - Grace

Across 14 songs, she just wants to survive and call all of us to stay alive, to wait until better days and to put behind us all our frustrations about 2020 and 2021. Don't lose your mind and create, don't sit on your own and stream "Supernatural Possession", a catchy song which should make you wanna discover her whole brand new album !
