DJ DUO FULL METAL FAILEY ENJOY CHART SUCCESS WITH SAVE OUR VENUES CHARITY BALLAD 'CROCS 'N' CORONA'

It's been a busy weekend for Scott ‘Full Metal’ Hackett and Pete 'Failey' Bailey, the presenting duo of Primordial Radio's weekly FULL METAL FAILEY show. Following the release of their charity single, 'Crocs 'n' Corona', the pair were thrilled to see the track breaching both the iTunes Rock and Singles charts.
Originally penned during a Twitch live stream, 'Crocs 'n' Corona' was the product of a Twitch live stream game, in which Pete and Scott asked viewers to suggest two random words for them to write a song around. After becoming an instant hit with their Twitch following, Full Metal Failey recorded the track using backing vocals provided by the Primordial Radio audience, releasing it upon the world on Friday 27th November.
With all profits from the single being donated to the Music Venues Trust campaign Save Our Venues, Full Metal Failey's 'Crocs 'n' Corona' has bested offerings from Imagine Dragons, Foo Fighters, Fleetwood Mac and AC/DC, gradually creeping up to the #1 spot of the iTunes Rock Chart over the course of the weekend.

"Within a few hours it had hit 175 on the iTunes rock chart" recalls Scott, "But it didn’t end there, it kept rising. Top 100, 76, then - utterly ridiculous - number 12, above 3 different AC/DC tracks!! It was insane. Then up to 7th place. And then #3, behind only Chris Rea and the Foo Fighters...and then word came through that we’d hit number 1!"
